Cars

For Mari's birthday we asked everyone to give gift cards so we could get her a car to ride. Our neighbors have one and she always watches them ride their "friend's car." So we bought one, Bob spent hours building it, and then we realized it was too small for them. Mari would probably only get to ride it this summer and the summer is almost over! So we took it back, and got a bigger (of course more expensive one). It is much roomier and they will ride it for years to come. In addition, James LOVES cars. He always wants to get behind the wheel of dad's car.

And to add to all of the car fun, we think it's getting pretty close to time to say goodbye to the Pontiac. I bought that car used when I was a sophomore in college (12 years ago), and it has 192,000 miles on it. It's starting to sound pretty rough. Needless to say, the hunt for a van is on! Never thought those words would. One out of my mouth!
