Mari turns FOUR and James is (almost) 2.5

Took Mari's four year old pictures today at Devou Park, and got some of James to document his half year (almost.)  These pictures just really show that my kids aren't babies anymore.  They are both so much fun, and full of SO much spirit... or hyper... whatever you want to call it. :)

Mari is hilarious.  She says things that are so off the wall, and random.  She also is so smart.  The other day she was playing with magnetic letters and put "JGM" and said, "Mommy, look 'JAM'!"  For an almost four year old, I was pretty impressed she was hearing those sounds so closely!  She loves music and will often sing and dance and make up her own songs.  She has a love/hate relationship with her brother... either playing great, or fighting HARD.  She is a little (or a lot) on the rough side and doesn't know her own strength.  Right now, she is into Kung Fu Panda and Cars 2... still not very girly. :)  She's a Mommy's Girl right now, and wants to be wherever Mom is. She LOVES amusement park rides and will go on anything we say she can go on.

James is just...BOY.  So much energy, and always on the go.  Loves any sort of vehicle and exclaims "MOM! AIRPLANE!" every.single.time. he sees one.  He communicates pretty well, and is so social.  He waves to anyone and everyone.  His smile lights the room, and his temper CLEARS the room.  He's starting to give up naps WHICH I HATE.  He needs them so badly, but fights them fiercely.  Many times I will look at Bob and say, "That's YOUR son."

Love these kids more than I could ever express.
