We are getting closer and closer to summer. Our 3 day weekend was just a taste of summer and I want more! We had so much fun. Saturday was Bob's shift day but he was able to take the morning off. We decided to go to the park and met our friends the Harrisons. We had so much fun. Sunday we went to church and then went to the pool. Mari loved the pool. However, we experienced the worst tantrum to date. It was bad. Really bad. Bob and I were both utterly embarrassed. I am just trying to tell myself that it is normal. We left the pool with her kicking and screaming. Our daughter has a lot of "passion"- that is for sure. After we got home, and she settled down, we played in the sprinkler for a little while. Monday, we went to the Newport parade with the Harrisons and got to see Bobby march in it. Afterwards we went to a yummy brunch and got froyo. To top the weekend off , Chelsea and Mica came down for a quick visit. In this stage of life, with the kids the age they are, it is hard to take long car trips and stay in hotels, so we don't visit Michigan as often as we would like. It is so nice when family comes to visit us and means so much.
Here are pictures from our weekend!
