Mari's Second Birthday Celebration 1 of 3

Mari's second birthday is coming up soon.  Rather than have a huge party, we decided to break it up into three smaller parties.  Plus, we would never have been able to figure out a day that would work with everyone, so three smaller celebrations was the way to go.

Mari's little friend Kate has her first birthday a week from Mari's.  We decided to have all of their little friends over to grill out and play and to celebrate their birthdays together.  A friend of ours made cupcakes and a little smash cake for each of the girls too.  It was so much fun and I just loved seeing Mari interact with all of the children.  It was obvious that she is becoming such a KID and not a baby!  She played and played, and really interacted with the other children.  Totally warmed my heart to see her so happy.
