Mari is growing up before my eyes. She is so interactive and lately I have really tried to be intentional about stealing one-on-one time with her. The other day, I took her to the grocery store. Since I didn't have James to wrestle (literally) I could watch her push around the mini cart on her own. She thought she was the absolute coolest. She got a special treat, we counted apples, and she even picked out a yogurt (Hello Kitty). It was such a simple thing, but undoubtedly a memory I will keep with me forever. Apparently it meant a lot to Mari too because the next day Magen said she didn't stop talking about "fun at Kroger."
