6 months

We took Mari's 6 month pictures today.  Everyone in our home is sick right now so our patience wasn't all there.  We did our best though and got a few good ones.

At 6 months...
  • Mari can stand while holding on to the couch.
  • She's becoming much more independent.  She wants to grab the spoon when you feed her and put it on her mouth herself.
  • Is sitting up by herself!  So much fun.
  • Loves the element of surprise...
  • Eats lots of different purees.  She's eating solids three times a day now.  We are starting to give her finger foods to explore on her own.
  • Still hates to nap, but sleeps 12 to 13 hours at night.
  • Is starting to use a training cup.  She loves it!  Once again Miss Independent loves to do it on her own and ends up soaking wet.
  • Wears 12 month clothing (some 9 month.)
  • Is somewhere around 22 lbs.  We go to her 6 month check up on Monday so we'll know more stats then.
Mari is so much fun.  I really like this stage of her life.  I am sad though because I am realizing that every stage lasts only a few seconds!  Every time we feel like we finally get a groove going it's time to switch it up!

Here are her pictures.  She is such a joy.
