The Big 3-0

Well, the big 3-0 birthday has come and gone for me.  It's an ugly number, that's for sure, but with a little perspective it's not so bad.  A lady at work told me that her 30's were great years.  You're established and a little smarter. :)  You've started your family and the years are filled with fun family times.  I'm really looking forward to years like that. :)

I celebrated with my family with a big crab bake.  My mom always makes us whatever we want for our birthdays and I chose seafood.  She did it up big like Momma always does.  Last night, Bob and Corrie organized a get together with some friends.  I know I say it a lot but I really am so blessed.  I love my life and all the people in it.  Here's to the next 30 (yikes!)!!
