Christmas

We had a great Christmas.  Bob worked the two days before Christmas, and came home at 7:45 this morning.  I held the kids off with a little Paw Patrol (the fan fav. these days), we ate some special Christmas pancakes, read (or paraphrased) the Christmas story, said a little prayer, and opened presents.  Mari was super into presents, and was so excited about anything Paw Patrol related.  James enjoyed his gifts as well.  They both spent all morning playing with the things they got.  This afternoon, we went over to the Kerby side to celebrate Christmas there.  That was wonderful as well.  There we sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus, the kids had a pinata, and ate lots (and lots) of yummy food.

It's been a great day.  We are blessed.
