Tonight we finished celebrating Bob's birthday with a bang! Actually, we celebrated my dad's birthday at the same time. It was "taco night" at my parents' house. My dad saw a recipe on tv that he wanted to try for some special pork tacos and they were SO good! In addition, I had one more surprise up my sleeve. When Bobby talks about Japan he always talks about tako-yaki. Its kind of like a small savory pancake with a piece of octopus (tako) inside. I bought a tako-yaki maker and we had tako-yaki for "tako night"! Haha! That's how it is at my parents house.... a little Mexican, a little Japanese... why not?? Of course my mom made Bobby his favorite shu-cream too! It was a good night!
